Microwave Hot Cocoa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    3 1/2 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine cocoa, sugar and salt in a 2-quart microwave-safe glass measure or casserole; blend in water.
    Microwave on High for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mixture boils. Stir.
    Microwave on High (so mixture boils) for 1 minute.
    Stir in milk.
    Microwave on High for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cocoa is hot.
    Do not boil.
    Stir in vanilla. Beat with rotary beater until foamy.
    Serve immediately.
    Yields 4 to 5 servings.
    Top each mug of cocoa with a marshmallow or whipped topping.
