Borscht(Cabbage And Red Beet Soup) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium onion
1 clove garlic
2 Tbsp. oil
2 medium tomatoes
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 cans condensed beef bouillon
2 cans water
1 small head cabbage
1 lb. Polish sausage
2 cans red beets
1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
-
Saute medium onion (chopped) and garlic (minced) in oil until soft.
Add tomatoes (chopped), salt, pepper, vinegar, beef bouillon and water.
Heat to boiling; reduce and simmer 30 minutes.
Add cabbage (shredded) and sausage (sliced).
Simmer 15 minutes, then add beets.
Serve with tablespoon sour cream.
