Cincinnati Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. water
2 lb. lean ground beef
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cumin seed or ground onion
2 large onions, chopped
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. red pepper or chili pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
3 large bay leaves
Preparation

Crumble raw, do not brown, ground beef into water.
Add rest of ingredients.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for 3 hours.
Remove garlic clove and bay leaves.
Add whole red peppers, if desired, for spicier taste.
Serve over rice or may be served in bowl with chips, or grated Cheddar cheese and chopped onions.
