Walnut-Vegetable Medley - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. carrots, cut in 1 1/2-inch sticks
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. dried basil, crushed
3 c. broccoli flowerets
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, add 1/2-inch water. Bring to a boil.
Add carrots and cook 5 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain.
In the same skillet, combine milk and basil until smooth. Add carrots and broccoli.
Heat to boiling. Reduce to low. Cover and simmer 10 minutes
or until veggies are tender, stirring often.
Top with walnuts.
Yields 8 to 10 servings.
