Kentucky Chess Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. white cornmeal
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    3 eggs, beaten to blend
    1 c. half and half
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 partially baked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Mix sugar, cornmeal and flour in large bowl.
    Stir in eggs.
    Blend in half and half, margarine, vanilla and salt; pour filling into pie shell.
    Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 375\u00b0; continue baking until puffed and golden, 45 to 50 minutes.
    Let pie cool to room temperature before slicing and serving.
