Grace'S Own Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. oil
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. raisins
    2 c. jam (blackberry, cherry or strawberry)
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Mix sugar, eggs and oil.
    Add soda and buttermilk.
    Mix well. Stir in flour slowly.
    Add spices, jam, raisins and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Pour into three 9-inch cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Let cool.
    Frost with your favorite Caramel Icing.
