Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. sweet cream
    1 c. broken pecans
    1/2 c. white syrup
    3 sq. chocolate
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, syrup, cream and chocolate together, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
    Increase heat, but do not stir again.
    Cook to soft ball stage.
    Remove from fire.
    Add butter and cool.
    Add vanilla and nuts, beating until thick and heavy.
    Turn into buttered pans.
    Cut into squares.
