Oriental Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round or sirloin steak, cut into strips
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
    1 1/2 c. green pepper, cut in strips
    1 c. slivered celery
    2 cans consomme
    3 tsp. soy sauce
    3 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    3/4 c. water
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Brown beef in olive oil and add garlic and cook until garlic turns yellow.
    Add salt, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and water.
    Cook 1/2 hour covered.
    Add vegetables and consomme; cover and cook 5 minutes at high heat.
    Stir in cornstarch and sugar, mixed with a little water to thicken slightly.
    Serve over rice. Serves 6.
