Chocolate Caramel Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 medium apples
4 (1.61 oz.) boxes Milk Duds
1 Tbsp. milk
2 tsp. butter
3/4 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. finely chopped walnuts
Preparation

Wash and dry apples; remove stems.
Insert wooden stick or skewer into stem of each apple; set aside.
In saucepan, heat Milk Duds, milk, butter and vanilla over low heat, stirring constantly, until candy has melted and mixture is smooth.
Remove from heat. Dip apples into candy mixture, one at a time, turning to coat evenly.
Allow excess candy mixture to drip back into pan.
Roll coated apples in nuts.
Transfer to buttered cookie sheet.
Let stand until firm.
