Old-Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Melt shortening and let cool for 5 minutes.
    Mix all ingredients together and roll into small balls.
    Press the top of each ball with fork. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 300\u00b0 until lightly brown.
