White Chocolate Cake And Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. white chocolate
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. oleo
    2 c. sugar
    4 egg yolks
    4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Melt chocolate in boiling water and cool.
    Cream oleo and sugar until fluffy.
    Add egg yolks one at a time and beat well. Add melted chocolate and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with buttermilk to chocolate mixture. Beat well until smooth.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and coconut.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Makes a three layer cake.
