Baked Lima Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 lb. lima beans
    1 gal. water (boiling)
    4 oz. pimiento, chopped
    8 oz. bacon fat
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. molasses
    1 lb. 8 oz. salt pork, sliced
Preparation
    Bake at 350\u00b0. Wash beans. Add boiling water. Cover and let stand 1 hour or longer. Cook beans in same water until tender (about 1 hour). Add seasonings. Pour into 2 baking pans. Place salt pork on top of beans. Bake until top is brown (about 1 hour).
