Christmas Fruitcake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. candied cherries (red and green)
    2 lb. candied pineapple (red and green)
    1 lb. white currants
    8 c. pecans, chopped
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. each: cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 sticks butter
    4 eggs
    1 c. bourbon
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cut fruit small.
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs slightly, then beat well.
    Add fruit and whiskey.
    Combine flour and spices; add to liquid mixture.
    Drop on greased pan by teaspoon.
    Bake in 300\u00b0 oven 20 to 25 minutes.
    Makes a bunch!
