Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Sift flour and measure four cups.
Cream butter and Crisco until well blended.
Add sifted flour and salt to creamed mixture. Roll dough and cut cookies, using different shapes of cookie cutters.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes, then sprinkle with sugar and continue to bake for an additional 5 minutes.
