Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 (10 oz.) can small peas
    1 (10 oz.) can Shoe Peg corn
    1 (10 oz.) can green beans
    1 small can chopped pimento
    1 c. onion
    1 green pepper
    1 c. celery
Preparation
    Combine and heat first five ingredients until sugar is dissolved.
    Let cool, then add sugar mixture to vegetables.
    Stir and chill overnight.
