Baked Stuffed Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (1-inch) center-cut pork chops with pockets
    flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    oil
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3 to 4 c. dry bread cubes
    2 small tart apples, pared and chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1/2 c. chicken broth or enough to moisten stuffing
Preparation
    Dredge pork chops in flour seasoned with salt and pepper. Brown chops in a large frying pan in oil on high heat.
    In another pan at the same time, saute celery and onion in the butter until onion is transparent.
    Add celery and onion to bread and apples. Season with salt, pepper and poultry seasoning.
    Moisten with chicken broth.
