Elaine'S Polish Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 medium onion
    2 stems celery
    6 carrots
    4 potatoes
    1/2 medium cabbage
    1 stick oleo
    1 can diced tomatoes
    1 Polish sausage, cut into bite size pieces
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Slice onion, celery, carrots and potatoes into chunks.
    Cook onion, celery and carrots until tender; add potatoes, cabbage, tomatoes and sausage.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Let simmer for a while.
