Beef Upside Down Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. celery salt
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    5 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. milk or half milk and half water
    1/4 c. sliced onion
    1 can tomato soup
    1/2 lb. ground raw beef
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, paprika, celery salt and pepper; add 3 tablespoons shortening and mix thoroughly with fork.
    Add milk and stir until blended.
    Melt remaining 2 tablespoons shortening in 9-inch frying pan and cook onion until soft.
    Add tomato soup, remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt and ground meat.
    Bring to boil.
    Spread baking powder mixture on top of meat mixture and bake in hot oven at 475\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
    Turn out upside down on large plate.
    Serves 8.
