Chocolate Fudge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 (1 oz. each) sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1 egg
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
9 walnut halves
Preparation

In large mixer bowl, cream Crisco and sugar until fluffy. Blend vanilla and chocolate into creamed mixture.
Add egg; beat well.
Sift together flour, soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with water; beat after each addition.
Spread batter in greased and floured 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Sprinkle top of batter with chocolate chips; arrange nut halves over top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.
Cool in pan.
Cut in squares.
