Pineapple Pound Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. margarine
3/4 c. shortening (Crisco)
2 3/4 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
6 eggs
1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 can crushed pineapple, undrained (15 1/4 oz.)
Preparation

Cream margarine, Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs.
Then alternate flour and remaining ingredients.
Beat with mixer for 5 minutes. Add pineapple and stir with spoon.
Do not beat pineapple in. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or 10 minutes longer if not done. Bake in tube pan.
