Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. popped corn
    1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. syrup
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Boil hard for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon soda; pour over popped corn.
    Stir well.
    Put in oven at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Stir 2 to 3 times.
    Will stay crisp for weeks in tight container.
