Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick oatmeal
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix oatmeal and boiling water.
    Let cool.
    Set aside.
    Cream brown sugar and white sugar with shortening.
    Add eggs.
    Add oatmeal.
    Then add flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda.
    Bake in a 10 x 14-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
