Popovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    2 well beaten eggs
    1 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation
    Stir together flour and salt.
    Add milk gradually.
    Add eggs and shortening.
    Beat with a whisk for 5 minutes.
    Pour into hot greased popover pans or earthenware cups and bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Lower heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 15 minutes longer.
    Serve at once.
    (I use large cupcake pans.)
