Ingredients

1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. flour
granulated sugar to dip in
Preparation

Combine sugars, butter, oil and eggs.
Beat well.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Refrigerate dough until chilled.
Roll in balls; dip in granulated sugar.
Place on cookie sheet.
Flatten with the bottom of a glass.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
