Ingredients

4 ripe medium bananas
2 (20 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
mandarin orange sections (garnish)
cherries
Preparation

Prepare 2 (9-inch) layer pans with butter and flour.
Peel and mash one banana to make 1/3 cup.
Drain pineapple well, reserving 1 cup juice for cake and pineapple for filling.
Follow package directions for cake using mashed banana and reserved pineapple juice instead of water.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes before removing.
Slice cooled cakes in half horizontally to make 4 layers.
