Rosa'S (Murdock) Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    3/4 c. shortening
    5 c. self-rising flour
    4 Tbsp. warm water
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix yeast and warm water.
    Melt shortening but save to add last (shortening will kill the yeast).
    Add sugar, buttermilk and half of the flour.
    Stir until well mixed.
    Add shortening and more flour until you can handle it.
    Grease hands and roll any size you wish.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown.
