Molasses Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. molasses
1/2 c. boiling water

Preparation

Mix all together; add boiling water last.
Bake in tube pan or two loaf pans at 350\u00b0 until cake tests done.
Put lemon sauce on top.
