Mexican-American Tacos - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. hamburger
1 tsp. chili powder
1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans
1/4 c. catsup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
10 Mexican tortillas
3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Mix hamburger with chili powder and saute.
Breaking meat up, brown 5 minutes.
Stir in beans and bean liquid, catsup, salt and pepper.
Cook over medium heat while you fix tortillas.
Place tortillas on cookie sheet.
Spread with melted butter.
Place in hot oven (400\u00b0) until they soften.
Spoon in 1/2 cup of chili mixture; fold in half.
Return to oven and bake 5 minutes (longer if you have trouble keeping the tacos folded).
Be sure they are well buttered before filling and folding, and place a knife over them to keep them weighted down.
