Glazed Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange Jell-O
1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
dash of salt
1 c. boiling water
1 Tbsp. butter
1 (1 lb.) can sweet potatoes, sliced or quartered or use 5 to 8 sweet potatoes, cooked
Preparation

Dissolve Jell-O, sugar and salt in boiling water in skillet. Add butter and bring to boil, stirring constantly.
Add sweet potatoes; cook over medium heat, about 15 minutes, basting frequently.
When syrup thickens and is glossy, remove from heat. Serve hot.
Makes 3 to 4 servings.
