Fruit Soup From Trondheim(Trondheimsuppe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. water
    1/2 c. rice
    1 c. seedless raisins
    3/4 c. half and half cream
    juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 c. raspberry juice (or other red juice)
Preparation
    In a thick-bottomed kettle, bring water to a boil.
    Add rice and cook 1/2 hour, stirring constantly.
    Add raisins and cook another 15 minutes.
    Make a paste of the flour, cream and lemon juice.
    Add paste to the soup and bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat and add fruit juice.
    Serve as a dinner dessert.
