French Onion Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. red potatoes, cut into cubes
    2 1/2 tsp. salt, divided
    1 c. sliced celery
    1/2 c. chopped red onion
    4 hard-boiled eggs
    1 c. refrigerated French onion dip
    1 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Boil water and add 1 teaspoon of salt to water with the potatoes. Boil potatoes for 8 to 10 minutes. After cooked, cool potatoes completely. Chop celery and onions along with 3 cooked eggs. Combine onion dip, brown sugar and remaining salt and pepper. Add potatoes, onion, celery and eggs to mixture. Chill overnight, then slice remaining egg on top to serve.
