Chili With Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck or round
    1 can tomato soup
    3 tsp. chili powder
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 medium onion
    1 can crushed tomatoes
    1 can pinto or kidney beans
    salt and pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Chop onion.
    Brown ground beef and onion together.
    Drain. Add tomato soup and stir to mix.
    Mix chili powder and flour with enough water to make a smooth paste.
    Stir flour mixture into ground beef mixture.
    Add crushed tomatoes, stirring to mix well. Add beans, stirring to mix well.
    Cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes or until bubbly, stirring occasionally to keep from sticking.
    Serve with crackers or corn bread.
