Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) can asparagus spears
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
    Drain asparagus; reserving juice.
    Combine margarine and flour in saucepan, cook until bubbly.
    Add reserved juice.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened.
    Layer asparagus, cheese, almonds and sauce in casserole dish.
    Top with bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Yields 6 servings.
