Sweet Potato And Apple Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans sweet potatoes (1 lb. 2 oz. size)
    1 can sliced peaches (1 lb. 4 oz.)
    1/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    2 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Slice potatoes 1/4-inch thick.
    In 1 1/2-quart casserole, alternate layers of potatoes and apples, ending with potatoes.
    Sprinkle each layer with some sugar, allspice, butter and lemon juice.
    Bake 20 minutes or until nicely browned.
    I like to add cinnamon and nutmeg to the sauce.
    Serves 8.
