Kennedy Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean stew beef
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 1/2 c. red wine (optional)
    3/4 lb. or 1 can mushrooms
Preparation
    Cut beef into 1-inch cubes.
    Place in casserole.
    Add pepper. Pour mushroom soup over meat.
    Sprinkle with onion soup mix.
    Bake at 225\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
    Stir mixture.
    Bake another hour. Blend in mushrooms.
    Add wine.
    Bake another hour.
    Serve with rice.
    Serves 4 to 6 people.
