Mexican Beef Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry for 9-inch 2 crust pie
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/2 c. sliced stuffed olives
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can Spanish-style tomato sauce
Preparation
    Line 9-inch pie plate with half of the pastry.
    Heat oil in skillet; saute onion and green pepper 5 minutes.
    Add beef; cook until browned, stirring frequently.
    Add seasonings and tomato sauce; cook over low heat 15 minutes.
    Let cool.
    Add olives. Turn mixture into pastry shell.
    Roll out remaining pastry; cut into thin strips.
    Arrange over meat in lattice pattern.
    Bake in preheated 400\u00b0 oven 35 to 40 minutes or until pastry is well browned.
    Yields 5 or 6 servings.
