Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sweet milk
    2 eggs
    1 onion, chopped fine
    1 can cream-style corn
    1/4 c. bacon drippings
    2 or 3 jalapeno peppers, chopped
    1 lb. ground meat, browned
    1/4 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Mix cornbread; put half in bottom of pan or skillet.
    Put browned meat and cheese, then put other half of cornbread on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes.
