Swiss Fondue - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 loaf sourdough French bread
2 c. white wine
1 clove garlic
1 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
4 tsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. kirschwasser
salt and pepper
Preparation

Cut sourdough bread into chunks making sure that each piece has one side of crust for spearing and dipping.
Rub an electric fry pan or saucepan with the cut garlic.
Heat the garlic and wine in the pan.
Grate the cheese (Gruyere and Emmenthaler is a good mix.)
Toss together with cornstarch.
Remove the garlic from the wine; gradually fork stir handfuls of cheese.
Mix in slowly so it stays hot.
