Pumpkin Cookies With Penuche Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. canned solid pack pumpkin
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugars together until well blended.
Add pumpkin, egg and vanilla, mixing well.
Sift flour with soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
Add to creamed mixture, blending well.
Mix in nuts.
Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove to rack to cool.
Frost with Penuche Frosting.
Makes about 7 dozen 1 1/2-inch cookies.
