Coconut Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. flaked coconut, toasted
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. Crisco shortening
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Combine flour, coconut, sugar, baking powder and salt in medium bowl.
    Cut in shortening with pastry blender (or 2 knives) to form coarse crumbs.
    Combine milk and vanilla.
    Add to dry ingredients.
    Mix with fork until particles are moistened and cling together.
    Drop tablespoonfuls onto baking sheet.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 14 minutes.
    Yield:
    12 to 16 biscuits.
