Molasses Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    tad less than 3/4 c. vegetable or canola oil
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. light molasses
    1 egg, beaten
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In large bowl, beat together molasses, sugar, egg and oil. Sift flour together with spices; mix well and add to first mixture.
    Refrigerate for 1 hour.
    Make into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar.
    Place on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Cool on wire rack.
    Makes 4 dozen.
