Jello Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lime jello
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. boiling water
    juice of 2 lemons
    1 qt. ginger ale
    red cherries
Preparation
    Fix jello according to box directions and let cool.
    Dissolve sugar in 2 cups boiling water; let cool.
    Beat jello mixture and then add sugar water.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Add ginger ale when ready to serve.
    Serves 25.
