Crock-Pot Short Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. lean short ribs
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. water
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
Preparation
    Dust short ribs with flour.
    Place in large skillet.
    Brown ribs on both sides in oil.
    Place in bottom of crock-pot.
    Stir together water and soup mix; spoon over meat.
    Cover.
    Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
    Remove meat; skim off excess fat.
    Thicken with roux; serve as gravy.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
