Funnel Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
2/3 c. milk
1 1/3 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
Beat until smooth (this might also be mixed in a blender).
Pour part of batter in a clean funnel with about 5/8-inch opening, holding finger over bottom of funnel.
Drop batter into hot, deep fat (375\u00b0).
Swirl in circles from center out.
Make each circle 5 to 6 inches in diameter at widest part.
Turn with long tongs.
Brown on both sides; drain on paper towel.
Serve with sprinkling of powdered sugar, jelly, syrup, molasses or honey.
