Oven-Steamed Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. converted white rice
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In 2-quart ungreased casserole with tight fitting lid, mix rice, salt and pepper.
    Dot with butter. Pour boiling water over rice; stir with fork to melt butter.
    Bake, covered, 45 minutes (do not lift the lid).
    To serve, fluff up rice lightly with a fork to mix well.
