Slime - cooking recipe

Ingredients

100 mL water
2 or 3 drops food color (if desired)
1/8 tsp. guar gum
5 mL Borax solution (use 1 level Tbsp. Borax for each 1 c. water)

Preparation

Slime, a product of Mattel Toy Corporation, is a reversible crosslinking gel, made from guar gum and Borax.
Powdered guar gum is available from health food stores.
