Hot Spiced Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. water
    3 c. sugar
    12 whole cloves
    1 4 inch cinnamon stick
    6 whole allspice
    1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
    2 c. orange juice
    1 c. lemon juice
    1 4/5th qt. of wine, either burgundy or claret
    1 orange, sliced
    1 lemon, sliced
Preparation
    Combine ingredients in a large saucepan and heat well. Transfer to a warmed crockpot to keep warm.
    Add sliced orange and lemon.
