Chicken-Fried Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1/4 c. water
    2/3 c. bread crumbs or crackers
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Trim fat from pork chops.
    Combine egg and milk. Dip chops in egg mixture, then in bread crumbs.
    In skillet, brown chops on both sides in shortening.
    Season with salt. Add water.
    Cover and cook over low heat for 30 to 45 minutes.
