Grandma'S White Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 envelope active dry yeast
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 lb. margarine
    7 or 8 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Sprinkle yeast into very warm water in a cup.
    Measure; stir in 1/2 cup sugar.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Let stand until bubbly and double in volume, about 10 minutes.
