Strawberry Magic - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. mini marshmallows
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed (2 c.)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. solid shortening
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt

Preparation

Generously grease bottom only of 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Sprinkle marshmallows evenly over bottom of pan.
Combine thawed berries and syrup with dry Jell-O and set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients.
Blend at low speed; beat 3 minutes at medium.
Pour batter evenly over marshmallows.
Spoon strawberry mixture evenly over batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes, until golden brown and toothpick comes out clean.
